Greed, selfishness, and jealousy are all emotions that can complicate any relationship. They can bring out the worst in people, and undermine trust, love, and respect. These challenges can represent the dark side for the Scorpio, though they are hardly are unique to the Scorpio.
Greedy Scorpio
Devotees of Ayn Rand can claim greed as a kind of political ideology. For most others, however, greed is simply a form of selfishness. A greedy Scorpio is greedy because he or she puts themselves first. This can be because they do not value others or because they do not trust others and do not want to invest themselves in other people because they are afraid of being hurt.
The Scorpio Male
When one discusses the Scorpio male, one question often comes up: "Do Scorpio Men like to be Pursued?" The answer is yes, some of them do, along with some men of other signs. Many men, and the Scorpio male is no exception to this, like women who are strong, capable, and confident.
Jealous Scorpio
All Scorpios are not inherently jealous, but some happen to have bouts with jealousy from time to time. When a Scorpio is jealous, what he or she is trying to communicate is an overall lack of trust -- both in themselves and in relationships in general. Trust can only be built over time, and with it, feelings of jealousy should slowly fade. If they do not, then the Scorpio is being unreasonable, or the relationship has other outside problems (such as the fact that sometimes, the one who is suspicious is right!)
Scorpio Love
Amid the greed and the jealousy, Scorpio love may appear to be difficult to find. However, both greed and jealousy are really expressions of the same thing, a lack of trust in other people. What Scorpios, as well as many people of other signs, need is to be valued, appreciated, and loved. The trust that is at the foundation of lasting Scorpio love is something that has to be gradually built up over time.
Some Scorpios often do not fully trust their heart to others, and thus they can become suspicious of others, or put others last. This jealous and selfish behavior is usually temporary and goes away with time and slowly building trust, however, be aware of the fact that not all relationships are built on a solid enough foundation to generate permanent trust. One should never generalize, however, and it must be added that not all Scorpios are the same. In addition, many non-Scorpios will probably see themselves in these descriptions.
