Revealing a Past Life Using an Ancient Science
The elements of a Natal Chart can reveal important insights for the current life in relation to a past life. This is how it is done.
Some of the specific elements astrologers look to in order to do a past life interpretation are interceptions, retrogrades, twelfth and eighth houses.
Interceptions in a Natal Chart
Interceptions occur when the Natal is erected and all the Signs are not accounted for. It is not uncommon for a person to have a chart with intercepts.
For example, a chart has a 2nd House intercept. Pisces is the Ruler of that House but it is also the Ruler of the 3rd House. The next consecutive Sign after Pisces is Aries. Therefore Aries must be intercepted in that 2nd House. In essence this means the Aries influence is working on a sub-conscious level but it also gives the astrologer more insight toward a past life.
Retrogrades
Planets do not physically move backwards. In astrology the degrees increase and decrease, thus a planet is in Retrograde Motion. A great deal of people have heard the term Mercury Retrograde. These are the times when communication seems to go into a time warp. It is also a period where people engaged in conversation walk away feeling bewildered. They feel as if they just participated in a discussion where each party was speaking a different language.
Transiting Mercury Retrograde is not the greatest time to begin a new business or sign a contract or make a verbal agreement. These retrogrades play an important role in deciphering the past life.
Twelfth and Eighth House
Twelfth House is depicted as the subconscious and all that is hidden, among other things. The Eighth is death, sex, and regeneration. It also deals with what a person gets back from the 7th House partner.
Retrogrades are important points in these Houses, likewise, planets. On the mundane it rules, jails/prisons, hospitals and institutions. Twelfth deals with issues of karma. It is the House of self-undoing, among other things.
Karma
Despite the fact that there are differences insofar as reincarnation is concerned, astrology is an extremely useful resource to determine the experiences that were not resolved in a previous life. It gives guidance to the native who has carried over both the positive and negative in their life. It seeks to rid a person of their fears, enlighten them as to what particular Karma they are working through, why they attract certain types of people into their lives. More times than not, it greatly improves a person's life.
Free Will
Karma is not a form of punishment. It is not rewards. It is justice but not through punishment. As beings of free will, the choice of working through Karma is decided by each and every living soul reentering planet earth. A Natal Chart can be best likened to a script that is self written prior to the soul's rebirth into the next life.
