A report of this week's major planetary events. Use it as a weekly planner. We could all use a little help from the heavens!
What's Up in the Heavens This Week
TUESDAY, April 4:
Mercury Trines Jupiter
Want to talk? Maybe Mercury's motivating you to communicate more clearly than usual right now. Your mind and tounge are a bit like quicksilver at the moment, this can be a good thing, but be sure it doesn't poison you. Speak your mind tactfully. Don't get stuck on one point.
This is prime-time for artists, athletes and scientists. If you've been waiting for opportunity to knock, try going out and finding it.
WEDNSDAY, April 5:
First Quarter Moon, Moon Squares Sun
Sweat the small stuff. Now, I don't mean work yourself up to a ritual dance over every little thing; simply handle little problems as they come. Procrastinating may help in some ways, but it makes the things you dread much worse in the long run.
So grab every bull you find by the horns but remember what good matadors are like, take the time to fine-tune the way you handle things. If situations are rocky, it might be because you need to look things differently. Try walking a mile in someone else's shoes, then decide.
WEDNSDAY, April 5:
Moon in Cancer, Aries Square
Though you may feel like you're swimming upstream, keep up the hard work till you reach the middle ground. Once you get there, stand firmly.
You may find this too is difficult and the hardships are all-inclusive. Things may be tough at home, at work and with friends. The things everyone seems to want from you may be the opposite of what you feel you really need.
You just have to meet people half way right now. Soon you'll be able to make your own set of rules.
WEDNSDAY, April 5:
Saturn Direct
What do you mean don't panic? Anxiety is part of what Saturn Direct is all about. So, if you feel like you're freaking out, remind yourself it's mostly a planet thing.
Use the panic as a way to get things done. But be sure to do things carefully and deliberately. If you're rushing, you're usually panicing. If you manage to get it all done, you'll spend the next 2 months reaping the rewards.
WEDNSDAY, April 5
Venus in Pisces
"People can you feel it? Love is everywhere." I think CSNY said that, I'm sure whoever wrote it did so when Venus was in Pisces. Love, particularly the way love feels, is the main thing for most of us right now.
Venus in Pisces can inspire you to see how gloriously fulfilled you are. Unfortunately, it can also make you overly sensitive if your relationships aren't living up to your dreams.
Instead of deciding to be utterly frustrated or delighted, try to focus on the simple fact that you love. Not on what you get in return or what you think you deserve. Love's not really about that.
SATURDAY, April 8
Mars Opposes Pluto
Mars means war and right now he's at war with Pluto, the dark, cold, mysterious planet that seems to bode ill. Tempers flare, emotions are charged and conflict abounds. You may feel like you're having to fight to hold your ground. You may even be right about that.
Try to see things for what they are instead of how they appear. Arguments almost always have more to do with feelings lurking behind the scenes than what you're arguing about. When you start to lose it remind yourself, Mars is intensifying everything a bit right now.
As if that weren't enough to deal with, people are being more manipulative than usual. Remember, that doesn't have to effect you. You don't have to do what other people want. Don't play into it. Above all, don't manipulate back.
SUNDAY April 9
Sun Sextiles Neptune in Aquarius
You may not have a lot of physical energy right now so turn inward; contemplate, review situations. Perhaps things are difficult to fix at surface level but you may be able to change what's fundamentally wrong right now. Relax, meditate, and try to see the deeper aspects of things.
SUNDAY, April 9
Gibbous Moon, Moon Sesquiquadrates Sun
The brighter the Moon is the better we see in the dark. By the end of the week, we'll be seeing things more clearly than ever by the combined effect of the Moon and Mercury. Do what is meaningful instead of what's easiest.
